I see not why you try to control me,
Forcing me to hold you back.
Do you hate me, despise me,
Waiting for the chance to attack?
How can I hate you when we are so alike?
You and I go through the same trials.
I am nothing more than your doppelganger,
Trying to make your life more worthwhile.
Yet in the process, you make me sin,
Causing my life to lose control.
Thinking now, I always wonder:
What, truly, is your role?
My role is nothing more than to keep you in balance,
Making sure you don't focus on light.
Darkness must always be there to even it out,
Even if it results in an eternal fight.
Ironic, seeing that you're the cause of this fight.
I find it funny that you feel no remorse.
You and I are supposed to be the same,
So why make everything even worse?
Make everything worse? I'm insulted.
You should have more faith in me.
I am the force keeping you alive.
Honestly, why can't you see?
All you do is make me suffer,
